San Francisco, California – (Nov 3, 2009) – SynGest, Inc. announced today that the Guthrie County, Iowa Zoning Commission and Board of Supervisors unanimously approved SynGest Inc.'s (www.SynGest.com) request to amend current zoning from A-1 agricultural to M-2 heavy industrial for the proposed BioAmmonia project to be located near Menlo, IA (approx. 45 miles west of Des Moines).
With re-zoning complete, all of the major obstacles to begin construction of the world's first BioAmmonia production facility have been removed. The SynGest Menlo project team is engaged in pre-construction engineering and anticipates a construction start date in the first half of 2010.
